Message	The whole point of these pistons is to be able to run the same or more boost than you would be able to run on an 8.5:1 conventional piston at any given octane level. These will be more detonation resistant than a generic piston with a generic dish of the same compression ratio. So...the assumption that the higher the CR the less boost you can run on pump gas doesn't apply to these. I realize this hasn't been tested yet on the VG30, but they work very well on other applications he has designed them for.
